On Friday night the sweet Keene family in my ward called me and asked me to do a small photo shoot in their home for their Christmas card!  I had so much fun with them and I cannot get over this shot! It is for sure my favorite!!!

The Batley Family

A few months ago, the youth in my ward had a silent auction where people in the ward offered to do things for people to bid on in order to earn money for the youth activities.  I was asked to do a photo shoot and the amazing Batley family were the ones to bid on it! Today we were finally able to do their family shoot and it was so fun!  The Batley family was so easy to work with and their little girl was full of smiles!  Thank you Batley family!

Yesterday my assistant Cassie and I were able to go to Liberty Park and do a shoot with the most adorable brothers!!  We had so much fun but I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking because these pictures really are worth a thousand words!

Krista, Kody, and Hannah

A little while ago I got to take pictures of another person that I work with! Krista has been so supportive of my business as she was the one to refer her cute niece Shai to me! Shai is the one that I did her engagements, bridals, and wedding! Thanks Krista, Kody, and Hannah!

 Wow I can't believe that all of my shoots are done with Shai and Aaron!  They are such an amazing couple and I am so glad that I was able to be a part of their special day!

Teagan Dash

For those who don't know, my nephew was born with only half of a heart which is also known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome.  It has been a very challenging experience for my family but has still made us very aware of miracles and also grateful for the gospel that is in our lives as we feel the love of our Heavenly Father.  My nephew Teagan Dash recently had his third major open heart surgery and I had the opportunity to document it.  Even though I took what seems like a million pictures I decided to only share the following three pictures that hold a very special place in my heart.

Kandee, Phil, and Kason

Lucky me I had another family photo shoot! This time it was at the Great Salt Lake and although we got a little dirty it was worth it because the pics turned out great. I work with Kandee and before the shoot she told me her son liked having his picture taken but I didn't realize how much he loved it until the shoot. Kason has the cutest smile and was so easy going that I could not get enough of him!

M & M Engagements

My cousin McKenzie is getting married so I had the pleasure of taking her engagements! I had such a blast on this shoot and I loved that Kenz brought an "&" sign with "M"s because it really added  something extra and I used them a ton!  All the pics were done at Day Break which was the perfect place to do Matt and McKenzie's pictures because her wedding is nautical themed!

Shai and Aaron Bridal Groomals

I was so happy that Shai and Aaron asked me to do their bridal groomals because I already had a blast with them for their engagements so I knew that this shoot could only get better!! They are so in love and Aaron can't keep his eyes of her! This shoot was done at Wheeler Farm and I will for sure go back there for all of the photo spot opportunities!

Engagements and Family Photos

  I was so excited to take Shai and Aaron's engagements!  They are so cute and such a fun couple to work with! They also have a very cute story that includes them being engaged only eleven days after Aaron got home from his mission!  I really look forward to working with them again for bridals and their wedding day!  I also would like to give my amazing assistant Cassie a shout out!  She was so helpful and I look forward to our many shoots together!!

I also had the opportunity to do a family shoot with the Pettit family!  I have known the Pettits for a while now because they are my sister's in laws. I had fun working with all of them and hope to do many more family photo shoots!

Making My Dreams Come True!

I can't believe this is happening but it is and I am so excited!!!  I have always wanted to be a photographer and now it is time to become one!  My photography business is Harper Grey Photography and while I still have one more semester left of school I am trying to get something going this Summer but hopefully business will really pick up next year!

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to take pics of three year old Noa who is a family friend!  His grandpa has a farm so that is where the grandparents wanted the photo shoot to take place!  It was a lot of fun especially because I wanted to be a farmer when I was a little girl, I guess my dreams have changed a little ha ha!  The cow that is featured in one of the pics is a prize winning cow and the grandpa was hoping that Noa would stand by the cow but Noa was very scared so the grandpa got to be in the pics too :)
